Dear Friends of The Lodge,
We really hope you have managed to stay safe over the past few months — it truly has been a testing period for everyone.
Since closing our doors back in March we’ve been looking forward to a time when we could welcome you all back again. The government have just announced that all hospitality business can re-open again as of Saturday 4th July and we couldn’t be more delighted!
What does this mean?
Safety of our guests and staff is paramount in our re-opening, so we’ve put plenty of procedures and measures in place to ensure that, whilst still trying to maintain the same atmosphere and welcome we hope you’ve come to expect.
— A stringent cleaning process has been introduced and will be adjusted along with Government guidelines as and when required
— Hand sanitisers will always be available throughout the building and in the courtyard garden.
— Our team will go through comprehensive training prior to opening focusing on a Covid-19 secure workplace and the safety of our guests.
— Those staying at The Lodge will now need to book their preferred breakfast time in advance to allow guests more space.
— Contact-free check out.
What opens when?
The hotel and restaurant will open on Saturday 4th July with a celebratory BBQ and drinks from 12pm for both lunch and dinner which can either be enjoyed in the courtyard garden and in the main building with 1m social distancing in place for those not from the same household, or you can takeaway if you have pre-ordered.
On Sundays, we won’t be returning to the traditional roast but from the 5th and throughout the summer we will be offering a mighty all-day BBQ! Pre-booking is essential for whatever day you choose to allow guests more space and time to enjoy their meal.
The co-working space and meeting rooms will be available from Monday 6th July. You can enjoy the comforts of the co-working space for the day (08.30 – 17.30) for £10pp: so that we can guarantee the correct levels of distancing please book in advance.
For those just wanting to pop along for a drink in the sun or at the bar — you’re more than welcome! To ensure you get the correct spot for your group we ask that you book in advance.
More information on our new menu and how to order your takeaways will be released soon.
On behalf of the whole team here I would like to thank you all for all the messages of support and patience you have sent our way, we really appreciate your continued support.
Any questions? Don’t be shy.
